Steve DeLadurantey grew up in Naples, Florida and attended grade school in Collier County’s wonderful school district where he decided to pursue music as a career. Steve attended The Florida State University and received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music Education degree and taught high school band in Florida for fifteen years. All of Steve’s high school bands received the highest ratings possible and traveled extensively, one of the highlights of his teaching career was having the Gulf Coast High School Band selected to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Steve was selected as “Teacher of the Year” twice and was also selected as a “Golden Apple Teacher” for Collier County. He is a National Board Certified teacher and Florida Bandmasters Association Adjudicator for Concert Band, Sight Reading, Jazz Band, Marching Band, and Solo and Ensemble. He is also a member of Phi Beta Mu, MENC, FBA, and FMEA.
Steve is proud to be the Director of Music and Performing Arts at North Naples Church and is honored to be able to glorify God each week with great music. He enjoys being creative with new ensembles and styles of music each week for the church congregation while working to engage community members in the church’s music ministry by cultivating their musical talents God has given them. Steve is happily married to his wife Andrea of eleven years and is extremely proud of their two children Ella and Jackson.
