Saad Rivera

Saad Enrique Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico and started playing Volleyball at the age of 12. Coach Rivera played every year since the age of 12, including playing for the club team Borinquen Coqui where he helped the team win a bronze medal at the 1998 Junior National Championships in Dallas, TX.  He then went on to play for Newman University (currently NCAA Division II) in Wichita, KS where he helped the team reach the National Championship game. Also as a member of the United States Air Force, he was part of the 2002 Air Force volleyball team that won the gold medal at the Armed Forces Championships.  Coach Saad, now resident of Fort Myers and is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer certified in Sports Performance, Nutrition and Weight Management.
