Laura Giraldo

Laura Giraldo, as the Upper School Spanish/French instructor, hails from New York City and has spent the past six years teaching Spanish at the Dwight School in addition to serving on the Honor and Pastoral Council and as a student advisor. Laura earned her undergraduate degree in Italian (correlate in French) from Vassar College, her master’s degree in Italian Studies from Middlebury College Language Schools, her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and most recently her Advanced Certificate in Foreign Language Education from Manhattanville College. Laura is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and French and has traveled extensively abroad, having lived in Colombia, Italy, and France for brief periods. Laura enjoys cooking, reading, and going to the gym.
