Speaker Series:
Please join us at our next Speaker Series event on Thursday, November 30 at 6:30pm for Social Media: A Parent’s Survival Guide, a high energy social media parental survival guide with Mr. Jason St. Amand, Upper and Middle School Principal at the Village School of Naples. Those who attend, will learn about the often confusing landscape of social media and receive practical parenting tips that will empower parents with confidence when tackling social media with their kids. As a principal and edtech leader at multiple independent schools, Mr. St. Amand has been an outspoken proponent for bringing digital literacy and citizenship to schools.

Junior Achievement series for US students:
On Wednesday, October 25 during assembly, upper school students attended the first of 7 sessions of the local Junior Achievement program on Career Success. JA Career Success equips students with the skills needed to compete for high-demand, high growth careers in the world marketplace. Students focus on developing the 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

College Visit Event:
On November 8th, High Point University will be visiting us! High Point University is a private liberal arts university in High Point, North Carolina, U.S., affiliated with the United Methodist Church. HPU offers 47 undergraduate majors, 51 undergraduate minors, and 12 graduate-degree majors. High Point University was ranked No. 1 among all regional colleges in the south and No. 1 for the most innovative regional colleges in the south in the “America’s Best Colleges” 2016 Edition, published by U.S News & World Report.
